Book Review :Just A Few Lies by Sandeep Sharma
Author :Sandeep Sharma
Publisher:Author Paradise Publishers
Pages: 89
Publication Date: 25 May, 2017
Sandeep Sharma is an author who loves to play with fire. His plots are always the most unusual ones. This story follows the legacy of wonderful novels like Let The Game Begin or Algorithm Of Future.
The blurb says a lot.. 'Understanding writer's mind is a complicated thing'.. True indeed and this is applicable to Sandeep as well. His plots are no less than pleasant surprises for the readers.
An author soars in the sky of a fictional world and tries to blend it with reality. The common boundary to both the worlds dissolve and his worlds becomes the same. This story reminded me of the fairy tale, "Enchanted", where Princess Giselle jumped into a well that led her to the real world from the fictional one.
The story revolves around Anant, a bestselling Superstar author, who feels that words have started to betray him. Authors are nothing without words. Converting his thoughts to words, giving them shape and handing them over to those who perhaps are yet to find an expression to their thoughts.
Thus his search for a 'new Anant' begins, who could carry his legacy.
Accidentally, he comes across the blogs of a girl named Sagarika. Amazingly her blog posts acted like a mirror that reflected all the real life incidents of Anant himself.
On the other hand, Anant's problems of hallucinations have made a comeback.
A twisted and dark tale of mystery and lies.... Read yourself to find out...
The title is catchy... The blurb is highly interesting. The cover isn't that good. The language is fluent and lucid though there are twists. The plot is praiseworthy! This is such a book that'll keep you glued till the end. Overall it's worth its value.
A must read! Please don't miss it..
Suggestion :Go slow, don't read fast unlike me... Taste the soup gradually. Let it melt into your mouth. This is the second time I am reading it. Just a wow!
