Three weeks ago, Graysen (Gray) Malone almost made the worst mistake of his life, and the guilt is about to destroy him, not to mention his marriage. He made promises to his loving wife, Madeline and their two rambunctious sons that he's failed to keep. While on the outside, he looks in control and the envy of their friends, deep down, he knows his world is about to implode.
Madeline (Maddie) Malone has known for several weeks her husband has been hiding something because the guilt is written all over his face. She just hadn't known the source of his anguish until a week ago. Blindsided and hurt by his deceit, she can no longer look him in the face let alone share his bed. The vows they pledged to one another on their wedding day meant something to her, but obviously not to him. Now, it will take all of her faith to weather the storm that's brewing because she will not become her mother.
Will Maddie be able to forgive and forget Gray's indiscretion? Will Gray be able to face his sins before its too late? Will their faith be strong enough to hold each other and their family together? Only time will tell, but be forewarned, things aren't always what they seem.

Review

'A good story will leave deep impact upon your mind and soul, even after you've closed the book. It'll make you think, feel and believe that you're a part of it, as if it's your own story, even if you're not the protagonist always. It'll help the boundary between reality and fiction fade away and merge both the worlds into one. Yes, the worlds of the author and the reader merges as the narrow boundaries between the story and reality vanishes. That's what turns a plain story into a creation! '
This is my debut Christian Romance read and I'm so satisfied to get introduced to a new genre. The way Isabel has put forth the story is indeed praiseworthy ; a simple story with an extraordinary touch. The author has showed her uncanny ability to keep her readers glued to the story till the end. I loved how Isabel payed attention to every little detail and has penned them down with great care. I really loved the name "Mable's Diner on Maple", it feels so homely.. I especially liked the character of Maddie. She's neither a strong woman, nor a weak one; she's a character shaped by circumstances. This is a story about love and trust and expresses the value of relationship. This is a story of healing, it's amazing how situations healed the relation between a father and a daughter! The little boys, the scenic beauty of Sweet Grove, and of course the wishing well, every little element has just made the story "PERFECT"! And yes, this story redefines our faith in God!
The cover is beautiful enough to grab attention of the readers at first glance. The blurb is good, gives you only a slight hint of the story. The title is nice. The language is simple and vivid. The plot is simple yet unique in itself. Characterisation plays a vital role in adding a magical touch to the story. In short this is a wonderful piece of work which you can't afford to miss!
