This is a wonderful story.. The author has indeed done a great job!
This story revolves around two lovers, Shilpa and Raja. The elements of Love and betrayal have been beautifully portrayed through the story. Shilpa is a small town girl, who like most other girls, had a dream where the king comes and loves her like insane! She falls for Raja, but the story takes a different turn when she realizes that she's being cheated on. Her dreams were shattered, so was she. Love wasn't like a bed of roses, rather it was a path trodden with thorns. But when she saw herself in the mirror of life, she realized her true worth. She was like a phoenix, reborn from the very ashes of the flame that burnt her! She wanted to be a Compulsion rather than her mere Optional existence. This story is about the journey of soul of a girl, cheated by lover, towards self realisation.. And yes, self love is indeed the most precious kind of love!

A beautiful story! The title is good, the blurb is quite good. The story line and plot are simple but has lot of depth. The language is very good, except a few minor grammatical/spelling mistakes at some places. The characterisation is wonderful.. The character of Shilpa has a lot of shades! I really wonder if the author Shilpa has more similarities with the protagonist Shilpa besides the name!
