The paranormal thriller is a true account of Kapil and provides an interesting fascination for those who are interested in the supernatural. The book is nothing less than a fantasy.
The book, which is a mystical thriller which is based on the author's true account true account, gives a glimpse on how the occult world operates. The true spiritual story explains the existence of the dark side of the spiritual white world, paranormal world, which is as much real and any ordinary person can get caught in the illusion of the world unless one is careful.
We belong to such a period of time wherein innocent seekers are lured into the trap of so-called Masters who fool them easily by playing onto their deepest fears and weakness.
The book hopes to save people from making that false step and even if one does commit that mistake the book offers hope that it is not the end of the world, one can always get to the Light.
A thrilling true account of an ordinary man plunged into extraordinary circumstances of the dark world.
Review
This is one the most unusual kind of story I've read and I must appreciate the author for choosing such a theme to write upon. What attracted me the most is the fact that it's a true account of the author's life. The title of the book is what you call intoxicating ; it kind of lured me to delve into the depths. The cover looked a bit dull and could have been more interesting. The concept is very interesting. Through this story the author has portrayed a different dimension of the relationship between a teacher and his disciple. It's almost impossible to think that a teacher will deceive his own pupil but that's exactly what's being portrayed here. This story is basically about the spiritual journey of Kapil. The story spins around his encounter with the Tantric master who was surreptitiously misguiding him. The story takes a different turn when he comes across with an Aghori. He was released from his previous problems only to find himself in new troubles. Then comes his encounter with a Guru. What actually was supposed to be a spiritual journey in guidance of sadhus, tantrics, actually pushed Kapil down through a vortex of unending miseries and complexities.
There are many other paranormal characters and incidents described which gave the story a complete shape. Characterisation was good enough, as the author has carefully portrayed the unique traits of each character. The beginning isn't that interesting and sort of bored me, but the story starts catching interest midway. Through this story the darker side of the spiritual world and the evil magic associated with it has been exposed raw. I'd like to thank the author once again for putting forth such a story!
The blurb is very interesting and catchy. It gives a brief glimpse of what the book has to offer and is enough to lure a reader to start reading. The plot is intriguing through I felt the presentation should have been a bit more organised. The theme is a nice one. The language is simple and understandable but somehow it lacked fluidity. The storyline is not strong enough to keep the readers hooked to the story till the end. The pace fluctuated throughout the story. The story seemed dragged at places.
